A Great Guitar Martin DX1RAE Review
We’re looking at the Martin dx1rae review. which is a brand new acoustic-electric guitar from Martin when Martin announced this guitar. I was already looking into picking up one of the x-series as a travel guitar. I was quite pleased. When Martin dx1rae reintroduced series away. Martin dx1rae HP all construction not just for the back and sides but also for the top as well and while this does mean that this is not solid wood and will not go through that beautiful maturing process, which is what we all love about solid wood guitars. This guitar does sound great and its own line in terms of specs.
This is a Dreadnought size coming in at 16 inches at its widest with a scale length of twenty five points four inches. We have a satin finish and like I said, KO H, PL for the top back and sides. The neck is a birch laminate. That is a lovely contrast the KOA body and that neck is part of Martin’s Performing Artist style. And is comfortably slim all the way up. The fingerboard is made by Rich light. Dx1rae is actually my first guitar that is used. Rich light in the fingerboard. I must say it’s just as comfortable to me as real wood. This guitar has a width of 1 and 3/4 inches and a tusk bridge saddle included in. This guitar is a Fishman MX pick up with an awesome tone tool.

So who is this guitar for?
Martin dx1rae acoustic electric guitar has the Fishman silent own pickup system that has discrete volume and tone controls right here inside the soundhole for easy adjustments during the performance of a while you’re recording. And it comes in the traditional Dreadnought body size originally named after the classic British Battleship for a reason as this thing has a lot of Roar and a lot of power. It is made with a very nice solid Sitka Spruce top for maximized residents. Clarity purity of the voice on the back and sides is a robust and rugged High. Mahogany Martin’s like the d-18. it has a very ringing tone in the high end that’s also reminiscent of the mahogany Martin’s. it’s a very nice warm bottom end particularly the dread knots eyes clear by mid-range read a good sustained as a very comfortable neck that’s made out of what Martin was now referring to as their Birch the laminate.
And next, it is a modified low oval matched with a traditional one and eleven sixteenth inch nut width and 2 and 8 at the 12th fret the tuna date string spacing at the bridge.
So it’s similar in feel and string spacing as the traditional markets from The 1940s 50s 60s along up the basics, the Woodstock here are rock and roll era. So it’s really easy for bar chords and for thumb printing so if we do traditional finger Style with a lot of them pretty. It’s a very nice neck for that in general. Whether you’re plugged in or playing acoustically, it’s an awful lot of town, especially for the money. I’m very familiar with this particular model. There’s a good friend of mine who lives in my building actually has one of these. so I get to play it fairly often and I’m always amazed at how pretty these guitars sound again, especially so just get a load of this.
Martin dx1rae is a cheaper entry-level model Martin is some things that they do like this or they take strips of wood like mahogany used in the next and the making of other guitars and they bind it together and it’s super strong and that’s what they’ve made the neck out of on this unit get a better look at it.
